This chain of hotels have placed a banksy in someone’s room. It’s worth $15000 and if you are lucky enough to have it in your room, and can successfully steal it.. it’s yours.
Creative marketing at it’s best. Well.. did you think you were really going to get something for nothing?

If you wear this watch, you’re wearing a normal watch with a mini cassette case between your eyes and the dial. In the past, this has looked stupid but the simple shades on this design make it look classy.
From the looks of the website though, the “New York” name on the product means you’re paying more. Now that’s a very clever marketing ploy.
This watch is minimalistic. That’s the obvious bit. Has an alarm, a date function and the digits of the minutes is what moves around.
It probably cause your untrained natural response, which is to tilt your forearm/head to read the time. Oh and unless it’s backlit with powerful LEDs, you’ll just be wearing a big dull jewel on the face of your wrist. Wonder what other people will think of that.
Liking design has its side effects: you start noticing products and styles like when you’re watching a film like (witty film) Annie Hall. Or simply start imagining things.
I could swear I saw a pocketwatch being used by (witty man) Alvy Singer somewhere.. but that might just be my imagination. I quite like watches that have that classic look of a Breitling, Omega or Rolex.
At the same time though, a few new zany watches have been posted on the internet so, that should explain the next few posts.
